My interests are varied and a bit more focused now in my life. My main love is Tibetan Buddhism, it's pretty much my home and  refuge; the “real deal” as far as I'm concerned.

During adolesence, I became pretty much a rebel; culture and society weren't working for me. I loved the hippies and became one in my own eccentric way. After having powerful, life-changing experiences with psychedelics, I went “off the deep end”. I suffered a three story fall and nearly died. The accompanying experience was extremely powerful, many call it a “near-death experience”. Subsequently I spent six months on the back wards of a state hospital, diagnosed as schizophrenic. These were abusive experiences but for me were the setting of continuous powerful experiences of non-ordinary reality that continue with me to this day.

I've been close to death several times in my life and have been fortunate to take these experiences as a spiritual path.

I currently work with mental health as a “spiritual supports facilitator” and try to help people connect with their spiritual experiences, whatever that is. I have some deep and passionate ideas based on my own experiences and am trying to work with others to change the mental health system.
